Tehran is ready to restart nuclear negotiations with the United States on condition that it is treated with "respect" and "honor", Iran's top diplomat has stated.

The Iranian diplomat said only diplomacy worked, and disclosed new appeals had come from mediators to reopen discussions with the US government. He asserted Iran possessed no undeclared nuclear sites, and Iran was not yet able to authorize the global atomic watchdog to access bombed nuclear sites for security reasons.

Walking a Complex Route

The foreign minister is walking a complex course since Iran wishes not to appear to be acting from a situation of vulnerability, and he consistently maintained that Iran had come out more resilient in military terms and emotionally from the Israeli-US attack on its nuclear sites in June.
